This is the first in a series of three courses aimed at developing leadership skills in Primary, Infant and First Schools. This is a stand-alone course but subsequent courses will deal with Monitoring of the Quality of Teaching and Learning Effectively and Carrying out Work Scrutiny Effectively.

Jane has taught for a number of years in schools across the region in all Key Stages from EYFS through to Key Stage 4. As a Primary Strategy Literacy Consultant, she supported many schools before returning to school as a Deputy then Headteacher of a primary school in Newcastle. In September 2013, she joined the educationGateshead team and now works as a Link Inspector for primary schools with a focus on school improvement and training. She is an assessor for the Basic Skills Quality Mark and is a Key Stage One Assessment
